Romanian Athenaeum:
The Romanian Athaeneum is one of the landmarks of Bucharest. The neoclassical buiding is currently used as a concert hall and is well known for hosting the international George Enescu international music festival. It also hosts the "George Enescu" National Philharmonic.
Palace of the Parliament:
The Palace of the Parliament is the seat of the Romanian Parliament and is the heaviest buiding in the world. With a total number of 1100 of rooms the building is also known as People's House.
National Arts Museum: Situated in the Revolution Square in Bucharest, the National Museum of Art of Romania features a vast collection of modern and medieval Romaninan art. It also hosts the Romanian royal family's international art collection.
The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant:
Located near Victory Square, The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant displays a beautiful collection of textiles, expecially national traditional costumes, icons, artifacts and ceramical tools. All of the exponates aim to unveil the everyday life of the Romanian peasant. The exhibition also displays different regional architectural complexes and the building is located next to the National Village Museum and is located very close to Grigore antipa National Museum of Natural History.
Bucharest Historical Center:
The historical center of Bucharest is one of the main touristic attractions of the city. Seesights include tourist shops, The National Bank of Romania and the famous Lipscani Street. The area is also known for it's variety in restaurants, bars and pubs.
