Short Biography
Doru Constantin received his PhD in 2002 from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. After a Marie Curie fellowship in Göttingen, he joined the CNRS in 2005 and was appointed at the Laboratoire de Physique des Solides, in Orsay, where he now leads the MATRIX group.
Dr. Constantin uses advanced synchrotron-based techniques to study the growth and assembly of inorganic nano-objects, as well as the interaction between components in colloidal systems.
Areas of expertise
Gold nanoparticles, self-assembled membranes, X-ray scattering, UV-Vis absorbance spectroscopy.
